On 14th July, the Kathmandu Marathon team joyously commemorated the French National Day, widely known as “Bastille Day,” during an event hosted at the French Embassy in Nepal with the Ambassador Mr. Gilles Bourbao. 

Bastille Day is a significant moment in French history as it symbolizes liberty, equality, and fraternity, reflecting the fight and right for freedom and democracy. It marks the beginning of social and political transformations in France that hold high value.

We, the Kathmandu Marathon team, express our gratitude and appreciation to the French Embassy for letting us be a part of this celebration. It is a pleasure for us as we believe in celebrating diversity, supporting human rights, and fostering a global community that upholds respect and understanding.
